The University of Strathclyde’s Archives and Special Collections is a unique learning and research resource open to all.
Our collections include:
- The official records of the University of Strathclyde documenting its history from its foundation in 1796
- Records of many other organisations, persons, and families
- Over 35 Special Collections of rare or significant printed material and books
Our catalogue primarily includes descriptions of the material in our holdings but also includes some digital objects. Cataloguing our vast collections is an ongoing process and we are continually working to add more descriptions. Please contact us if you would like to consult any of the collections or if you cannot find what you are looking for.
