Letter: Patrick Geddes to [Henry] Wilson.
Introducing himself to Wilson, as they have a mutual friend in Mrs. [Phoebe Anna] Traquair. Geddes is very interested in Wilson's work and would like to arrange a meeting in London. Enclosing an article on cities (not extant), and promising to send a copy of City Development later. Manuscript. 1 document [London], 4 April 1906.

John Burns has promised to tackle Lloyd George directly, and Geddes also suggests that Wilson meet with Burns. Also regarding a project or exhibition in Aberdeen, recommending that Wilson contact George Adam Smith, [J.] Arthur Thomson, and W[ ] Longden of the Education Department who was formerly the Art Gallery Curator at Aberdeen. Regarding the sinking of the Clan Grant with the [Cities and Town Planning] Exhibition for Madras and Bombay on board. [Henry Vaughan] Lanchester has formed an emergency committee to gather more exhibition material.
Geddes also hopes that Wilson may be able to gather material in Venice which shows the history of cities. Mention of books by Braun and Blaeu. Seeking information on current social and architectural change in Italy: mention of the destruction of the Piazza Venezia for the Vittorio Emmanuel monument. Manuscript. 1 document. Attaching a news clipping on British education during the war. Trying to arrange a meeting. F.G. Ogilvie of South Kew is sending Geddes his report for Sheffield museums. London, 11 September 1915.

Postcard: Patrick Geddes to Henry Wilson. Geddes is on his way to Calcutta and asks Wilson to send a drawing, possibly a reproduction of 'that wonderful Tower' or a monument in Aberdeen. Suggests that Wilson organise an exhibition of sketches with the A[rts] & C[rafts] Soc[iety], Manuscript. 1 document. London, 22 September 1915.
